The business need
Business information from different sources needed to become easier to review and use.
The work
Auto-BInalysis focuses on business information and analysis tools. The underlying need is to bring information from different sources into a form that people can review and use, rather than leaving the work scattered across separate views.
The recorded work covers information organization, data workflows and an analysis interface. The design priority is to preserve the meaning of the information as it moves into the interface: users need to understand what they are looking at, where it belongs and whether anything is missing.
From the brief to the handover
Our approach to Auto-BInalysis
How we approach a brief like this, from planning the work to reviewing the complete experience.
Identify the questions behind the data
Start with the decisions users need to make, then identify the information that supports those decisions.
Organize the information flow
Map how data is prepared and grouped before choosing the views needed to present it.
Review clarity and exceptions
Check representative records, missing values and interpretation of the interface rather than relying on attractive charts alone.
